3. Use of the Platform

You agree to use Pitchvilla for legitimate purposes such as:

Learning and contributing to the startup ecosystem

Sharing founder stories and startup journeys

Accessing startup-related services, tools, and communities

You may not:

Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity

Post spam, harmful, or unlawful content

Solicit users for unrelated or harmful commercial gain

Violate intellectual property rights

4. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, logos, texts, images, videos, and code on Pitchvilla are the property of Pitchvilla or its licensors, protected under Indian copyright and trademark laws.

You may not use, copy, or distribute any materials without prior written permission from Pitchvilla.

5. User-Generated Content

Users may submit content including text, images, company details, founder stories, and feedback.

By submitting content:

You grant Pitchvilla a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and share it across the platform and its marketing channels.

You represent that the content is original and does not infringe any third-party rights.

Pitchvilla reserves the right to edit, remove, or reject any content at its discretion.

6. Third-Party Services & Links

Pitchvilla may contain links or integrations to third-party websites or services. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content or practices. Use them at your own discretion.

7. Privacy

Your use of Pitchvilla is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with the IT Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023.

8. Limitation of Liability

Pitchvilla is a facilitator and does not guarantee any outcomes from networking, deals, or collaborations.

We are not liable for:

Business decisions made based on information from the Site

User disputes or third-party claims

Damages from unauthorized access to your account

Interruptions, bugs, or technical issues on the Site

In no event shall Pitchvilla’s total liability exceed INR 1,000.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pitchvilla and its founders, partners, and affiliates from any claims, liabilities, or legal costs arising out of:

Your use of the Site

Your violation of these Terms or applicable laws

Your infringement of intellectual property or privacy rights

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Pitchvilla without notice if:

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Terms of Service for Service Providers / Vendors

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your engagement as a service provider or vendor (“you” or “Vendor”) on the Pitchvilla platform (“we”, “us”, “our” or “Pitchvilla”), which facilitates connections between startups and verified service providers.

By registering as a vendor or listing services on Pitchvilla, you agree to these Terms and all applicable Indian laws.

1. Eligibility and Registration

To offer services on Pitchvilla, you must:

Be a legally registered entity (sole proprietorship, LLP, company, etc.)

Be at least 18 years of age

Submit valid business and contact information

Have relevant experience and/or testimonials

Pitchvilla reserves the right to accept or reject applications at its sole discretion.

2. Scope of Services

Vendors may list services relevant to startups and founders, including but not limited to:

Marketing, branding, and content

Legal, financial, and compliance

Design and development

Hiring, HR, or operational services

Consulting and strategic services

All listed services must be legal, ethical, and non-misleading.

3. Vendor Obligations

By participating as a vendor, you agree to:

Deliver services professionally and within committed timelines

Maintain clear and truthful service descriptions

Protect client confidentiality and intellectual property

Refrain from spamming, misleading, or unethical sales practices

Not solicit or misuse user data for purposes outside agreed service scope.

4. Listing and Promotion

Pitchvilla may:

Feature or promote selected vendors on the platform or across social media

Verify and tag vendors as "Pitchvilla Verified"

Reserve the right to remove or modify listings that do not meet quality standards

Vendors are responsible for ensuring their listings are up to date.

5. Payments & Commissions

Depending on the engagement model:

Pitchvilla may charge a listing fee, lead commission, or percentage on confirmed deals

All fees will be transparently shared via email or platform dashboard

Payments must be made to Pitchvilla within agreed terms

In case of disputes or non-performance, Pitchvilla reserves the right to withhold or reverse payouts

6. Dispute Resolution

Vendors are expected to resolve disputes directly with clients in good faith

If unresolved, Pitchvilla may step in to mediate, but holds no legal liability

Pitchvilla may suspend or blacklist vendors based on verified complaints

7. Confidentiality & Data Protection

You must:

Keep all client and platform data confidential

Comply with Indian privacy laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023

Not store or process user data beyond the service duration without consent

Pitchvilla has the right to audit vendor compliance in this regard.

8. Termination and Suspension

Pitchvilla may suspend or terminate your vendor status if:

You breach these Terms

Receive repeated complaints or deliver substandard work

Are involved in any fraud or unethical practices

Vendors may voluntarily deactivate their listing by notifying Pitchvilla via email.

9. Intellectual Property

Vendors retain ownership of their service brand and deliverables unless agreed otherwise with the client

Pitchvilla retains ownership of all platform content, branding, and promotional creatives

You may not use the Pitchvilla name or logo without written permission

10. Limitation of Liability

Pitchvilla is a facilitator and not a party to service contracts. We are not liable for:

Service failures, disputes, or damages arising from vendor-client interactions

Loss of business due to delisting or moderation

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Total liability is limited to the amount paid by the vendor to Pitchvilla in the last 3 months.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
